The highest-paid person in Bucharest made almost 48,000 eurosper month last year and works in consultancy. This record high netsalary was registered in sector 2, according to the data suppliedto ZF by the Bucharest Public Finance General Department.
This monthly income amounts to about 137 average wages asregistered last year.
The average net salary reached 1,477 RON (350 euros) in December2009, down by 0.8% compared with December 2008.
People working in consultancy remained at the top of the salaryranking in Bucharest. Second in this ranking was anotherconsultant, whose tax return reveals an about 33,375-euro monthlyincome.
Consultancy executives were on the top two positions of thesalary ranking in Bucharest in 2007 and 2008, as well.
Fuel retail helped a person in Bucharest based in sector 4 make26,352 euro income a month and he was the first working in thisfield to have made it into the top five.
Fourth came a taxpayer who provided business services. His netincome stood at 24,469 euros. The fifth highest-paid was anemployee in the electrical installation field, who earned 20,715euros.
