Furniture producer Ilefor based in Targu Mures posted a turnover worth 2.6 million euros (9.3 million RON) in the first six months of 2006, compared with 2.5 million euros (9.1 million RON) in the same period of last year. "This trend has been generated mainly by the increase in deliveries to the domestic market, especially to Mobexpert. The furniture retailer is our main customer on the Romanian market, and the opening of new Mobexpert stores has contributed to the increase in the demand for furniture," Ioan Gherasim, the company's general manager told ZF. As a matter of fact, the company is controlled by Mobexpert. The Ilefor management estimates a turnover worth 6.1 million euros for this year, a 10% increase against the value witnessed last year.
