Lafarge Aggregate Betoane extends credit

The Board of Directors (BD) of Lafarge Agregate si Betoane (Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete) decided to increase the loan contracted from the company's majority shareholder, Lafarge Ciment, from 14 million RON to 27 million RON (7.7 million euros). In June, Lafarge Agregate si Betoane announced it would borrow 14 million RON from Lafarge Ciment in order to develop its concrete-related activity and to modernise its quarry and ballast-pit equipment. On September 8th, the BD of Lafarge Agregate si Betoane approved an increase in the loan contract to 27 million RON. In May, the company acquired several rock quarries in Brasov county, with the value of the transaction standing at around 550,000 euros. The main shareholder of Lafarge Agregate si Betoane is cement producer Lafarge Ciment, with 84.6% of the share capital.
