CR Firenze bank, the former Daewoo Bank, released new credit and savings products last week. The bank announced on Monday the launch of a current account for individuals, with a 5.5% annual interest rate, if the deposit is of over 5,000 RON. The interest accounts in euros is 4% a year if the balance exceeds 4,000 euros. In the case of corporate clients, interest rates stand at 5% in RON and 3.5% in euros, if the minimum deposit is at least 10,000 euros. In addition to the "Vantaggio" account, the bank offers a subscription for the internet banking service and a Visa debit card as part of the package. CR Firenze also recently launched a credit for financing post-graduate studies. The loan, called "Student", can grant up to 5,000 euros, repayable in 5 years. The money is transferred by the bank directly into the account of the education institution. Italian-based CR Firenze entered the Romanian market last year, through the acquisition of Daewoo Bank and later changed the name of the Romanian branch.
