Emanoil Viciu, former president ofTeraplast Bistriţa (TRP.RO) and one of the main shareholders of thePVC profiles and pipes manufacturer says the recent changes in thecompany's management are aimed at improving the company'sprofitability, which has declined in the last two years despite theturnover growth. Teraplast's Board of Directors has madesignificant changes to the management team since the beginning ofthis year, bringing Ştefan Bucătaru, formerly investment manager atGreek private equity company Global Finance, as general manager. Hehas expertise in reorganizing and restructuring businesses. In thefirst quarter, Teraplast's net profit fell 57%, to around onemillion lei (EUR 250,000) while its turnover climbed 10.9% toRON38.1 million (EUR9 million). ZF
