Prestige Tours travel agency forecasts an 8 million-euro turnover for this year, up 25% against last year, due to attracting more foreign tourists, according to Mircea Vladu, owner and general manager of the company. "In the first nine months of this year, we posted a 6.5-7 million-euro turnover. October, November, December are low-season months, there are not many people taking trips during this time, compared with the rest of the year," he specified. "The largest share in the agency's turnover is held by outgoing tourism, which has generated 4 million euros this year. "Charter flights to destinations such as Antalya, Crete, Rhodes, Corfu, Cyprus, Sardinia, Tenerife and Palma have fetched the highest revenues this year," he said. Mircea Vladu added that there has been no decline on this segment, with sales being similar to last year's. However, the highest sales growth rate was recorded on the incoming segment, which brought in around 1.3 million euros, up 35% on last year.
