Radu Dimofte, one of Gabriel Popoviciu's business partners,holds around 4.8 hectares of retail space (equivalent to a mall),most of which is located in Drumul Taberei, Crangasi, and Militaridistricts of Bucharest. via Practic SA, a company in which hecontrols 48.4%. This is the first time that Practic SA has releasedthe list of its retail spaces and tenants. Radu Dimofte partneredwith Gabriel Popoviciu in the Baneasa project in northernBucharest, through Baneasa Investments, with the families of thetwo controlling Alltrom group, which operates IKEA, KFC, Pizza Hut,Howard Johnson franchises. The two businessmen are also partners inthe Doina restaurant in Bucharest. Practic's main clients arebanks, as almost all names in the Romanian banking system were onthe Practic SA's tenant list at the end of last year, with thebiggest ones being BCR and Raiffeisen, each with six branches. Lastyear Practic SA collected 28.7 million RON (6.8 million euros) inrent revenues, 17.4% more than in 2008, despite tough marketconditions.
