Nine-month profit of the automotive parts manufacturer Compa Sibiu rose by more than seven times from last year's value to a total of 1.5 million euros. At the same time, Compa's turnover increased by over 50% to 28.3 million euros. Losses for the company increased from the 0.14 million euros seen last year to 0.39 million euros in the first nine months of this year, though revenues grew by 60% to nearly 0.5 million euros. Company officials were unavailable for comment. Compa's first half turnover was 735bn ROL (18 million euros), while profits were 53.7bn ROL (1.3 million euros). The results are higher than forecast. Compa's budget for 2004 foresees a 979bn ROL turnover and net profits of 33.7bn ROL (0.82 million euros). ZF
