Corrugated cardboard and paper manufacturer Vrancart, based in Adjud, has invested over 8 million euros in five raw material collection centres this year, and production equipment to make the activity more effective. "These investments resulted in rather low acquisition costs being maintained and in an improved collection process of the main raw material, waste paper," said Cristina Ene, head of the company's marketing department. This year, Vrancart opened integrated centres for the collection of raw materials and the sale of finished products in Medias, Botosani, Bacau, Constanta and Arad, alongside three already existing ones in Iasi, Bucharest and Focsani. Vrancart estimates to see an approximately 24 million-euro (82.4 million-RON) turnover this year, up 27% against last year. "Our growth has to do with us producing higher volumes of corrugated cardboard and paper this year than last year," added Cristina Ene. The sales increase was prompted both by the rise in the number of orders from already existing clients, and by the company attracting clients from all industrial sectors, according to Vrancart's representatives.
