Stock of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE), of iFond Financial(IFR), as well as of SIF Moldova (SIF2) are among the StockExchange shares that stand to gain the most from the floatation ofFondul Proprietatea (Property Fund-FP).
For investors wanting to profit from FP listing, but who are notallowed to buy FP stock as long at the Fund is not listed, or whodo not hold sufficiently large sums to buy stock on the "grey"market, BSE, IFR or SIF stock are likely to be the bestalternatives.
BSE stands to gain the most in the wake of rising transactions onthe market once FP is floated, while the fund managed byIntercapital or SIF Moldova, which this year bought over 1% in FP,are likely to benefit from the rising price of these stocks afterfloatation.
Many investors have already made these calculations and this canexplain why BSE stock has jumped by over 60% since floatation,while IFR shares have been trading at 14% above the IPO price andwhy SIF2 has gained 19% since late May, while the rest of SIFs havestagnated.
