Xerox's subsidiary back into the hands of a Romanian

Gabriel Pantelimon, the company's sales and marketing manager inCEE, Turkey and Israel has replaced Petr Sichrovsky, who returnedto the Czech Republic.


The domestic operations of Xerox US company, one of the world'sbiggest providers of printers and copiers, are again run by aRomanian, starting the beginning of this month, after PetrSichrovsky, who was appointed as CEO in July 2009, left the companyto work for another firm in his country of origin, the CzechRepublic. Previously, Xerox Romania had been run by MariusPerşinaru, who was promoted to operating vice-president foremerging markets with the company last month, in charge with 100countries, a cumulated business of 1.5bn dollars.
Pantelimon joined Xerox in 1997, in the sales department. Sincethen, he has held several positions in the company, in 2008 beingappointed as Global Accounts Manager - Xerox CEE, Israel and Turkeyand in 2009 as a marketing and sales manager for the sameregion.
In his new position, Pantelimon will be in charge of coordinatingmarketing and sales activities, global services and customerservice operations for Xerox Romania and the Republic ofMoldova.
