Timisoara-based Lipoplast, which produces and processes glass and PVC trim, posted an approximately 5.2 million-euro turnover in the first nine months of this year, up 57% against the same time last year. Under the circumstances, the management of the Timisoara-based company estimates it will close 2007 with total sales of over 7 million euros, up by over 44% against 2006. "The positive trend seen by our company's sales in the first nine months of 2007 against the similar time last year had to do with the development of the home building market over the last period, with the advantageous lending conditions, with the investments in automating the production process, as well as with our personnel training programmes. Our market is continuously growing, and getting increasingly demanding in terms of product diversity. Even though the amount of investments in production has gone down, this is offset by the developments in the real estate sector," Ana Maria Marius, sales manager of Lipoplast, told ZF Transilvania.
