Raiffeisen head of risk takes over retail, Răzvan Munteanu promoted to Vienna

Changes at the top of Raiffeisen Bank: starting next year, thereins of the retail unit will be taken over by Vladimir Kalinov,40, the current executive vice-president in charge of risk, whileRăzvan Munteanu, 44, who has been running retail in the past fiveyears, will be promoted to Vienna, to the headquarters ofRaiffeisen International.

Banking sources state the decision has been made recently, in thewake of talks in Austria on the occasion of the parent-bank'shaving approved the 2011 budget for Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
Marinel Burduja, the executive first vice-president in charge withthe corporate unit for nine years, will keep his position, despiterecent rumours regarding his possible departure fromRaiffeisen.
The current head of retail at Raiffeisen, Răzvan Munteanu, is setto be in charge with the same field, but at group level.
His future successor, Vladimir Kalinov, is a Bulgarian-born and hasbeen working for Raiffeisen Romania since 2005.
