Wizz Air flies from Targu-Mures to London

Low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch flights from Targu-Mures to London (Luton Airport) in October, simultaneously introducing flights from Bucharest to Valencia, Parma and Liverpool, the operator has announced. "Wizz Air will continue its expansion in Romania. The new flights will supplement the network of eight routes operated from Bucharest and Targu-Mures," informs the company. The Targu-Mures-London Luton route will be launched on October 30, with three flights a week. The price of a one-way ticket starts from 26.9 pounds (around 130 RON), taxes included. Flights to Liverpool and Parma will start on October 1, and the flight to Valencia will be launched on October 29. Wizz Air launched its first flight in Romania in July 2006, on the Targu-Mures-Budapest route, and at the beginning of this year, it started to operate flights to Bucharest, Barcelona, Budapest, Dortmund, London (Luton) and Rome. It was also then that the operator introduced two new flights from Targu-Mures to Rome and Barcelona.
