Court of Appeals based in San Francisco announced that it will not block a court decision that decreed junior executive order suspending the application of anti-immigrant signed last month by President Donald Trump.
The ruling was unanimous, the judges arguing that the presidential administration has not proved that the terrorist threat justifies resumption access restrictions. Moreover, the Court of Appeal rejected the argument that the President's discretion to decide immigration policies.
Following this decision is likely that this legal dispute to be settled by the US Supreme Court.
Donald Trump responded with a message on Twitter in which he stated that national security is threatened.
"SEE YOU IN COURT, national security is at stake," said Trump.
