Stockings and underwear manufacturer Adesgo Bucharest is looking into the possibility of entering markets in Serbia, Ukraine and Bulgaria with its Diamond brand, which is only sold in Romania at the moment, the company's chairman Raanan Sobel stated. According to the representatives of the manufacturer, 30% of the stockings production is sold in Romania, through the major stores throughout the country and braded as Diamond. The rest of the production is exported to several countries. Adesgo posted 15.5 million euros in turnover last year, of which sales on its home market accounted for 4 million euros and 11 million euros were derived from exports. In June 2002, Loar B.V., part of the Israeli group Argaman Industries LTD, took over the majority interest in Adesgo.
