Banc Post expects new chief executive

06.07.2004, 00:00 7

Banc Post's management team will be complete following a general meeting of shareholders scheduled for July 16. On that day, a representative of the majority shareholder, EFG Eurobank Ergasias, will be appointed as chief executive officer and a representative of the SIFs will be appointed to the Board of Directors. "The chief executive will be an EFG Eurobank expert. The financial investment companies (SIFs) will be represented in the Board of the bank by Carmen Dumitrescu, deputy chief executive of SIF Banat-Crisana," Banc Post's president Elena Petculescu announced. Back in May the bank had previously announced the appointment of David Watson, Eurobank representative on the Board of Banc Post, as chief executive. The appointment came at a time when the bank was in the process of reorganising its management, by separating administrative and executive management duties. Because of changes that have taken place in the meantime, it won't be David Watson that becomes CEO. ZF
