Multinationals operating in the IT&C, pharma, FMCG and otherfields, which organise the Christmas party for their employees inBucharest's five-star hotels, prefer caviar sandwiches totraditional dishes, with the cheapest menu starting from 25 eurosper person (VAT not included) and getting as high as 130 euros perperson, according to market information.
"Each day, starting from December 1 to December 22, we will have aChristmas party in the hotel. This year, we had more requests forthis event type from last year," said Adrian Adam, marketing andsales manager with Radisson Blu, the five-star hotel with thehighest capacity in Bucharest.
Meda Vasiliu, marketing and sales manager with Bucharest's JWMarriott five-star hotel, the biggest hotel in terms of turnoverlast year, stated Grand Ballroom and Constan]a Ballroom havealready been booked for companies' Christmas parties.
December will be full of events for Howard Johnson five-star hotel,as well. "Last year, we hosted around 20 Christmas parties with an140-person average participation. We expect demand for such eventsto be similar this December, with still low budgets, as we are inthe second year of recession," stated Sonia N`stase, generalmanager of the hotel.
