Three potential clients for a new car were coming out of a"Dacia corner" of the Renault dealer in French city of Frejus, located at midpoint between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, on the FrenchRiviera, the most expensive region of France.

Customers had a few Dacia pamphlets in their hands and theirconversation revealed that they were talking about Duster, thecheapest SUV available on the European market.

Dacia is sold in France mainly through the Renault dealernetwork, where special corners for the Romanian brand have beenprepared. According to the strategy for the near future, thecarmaker intends to develop a network of monobrand dealers throughthe 100 showrooms already distributing Dacia in France.

"We are seeing good demand for Dacia, even better than Iexpected, which is why we are thinking of building an independentshowroom for Dacia. We don't know when we will build it, but itwill be located at equal distance from Frejus and two neighbouringcities, where we have Renault showrooms in order to attractneighbouring clients," said Jean Marc Jaume, Renault Frejus salesadvisor.

Although it is not on display in showrooms, sales advisors sayclients come every day asking about Duster and its commerciallaunch, and some of them have even bought one already.
