Dan Bulucea: I am leaving Microsoft without a clear plan for the future

Dan Bulucea, marketing and business manager (BMO Lead) ofMicrosoft Romania, resigned from the company, citing his wish to dosomething else after 12 years of working at the American softwaremanufacturer.
"It wasn't a forced decision, but a joint one with the companymanagement. One of the main reasons for my departure is that Iwanted to do something new after 12 years within Microsoft,"Bulucea told ZF.
He will remain within the company until April 30th "in order toensure a smooth transition". Dan Bulucea was appointed as BMO Leadof Microsoft Romania, the local subsidiary of the American softwareproducer in 2006, after he was Senior Platform Manager at theMicrosoft Centre for Central and Eastern Europe in Germany.
Dan Bulucea said he has got a few offers and is weighing hisalternatives, one of which is to start an IT&C business.
According to Bulucea, the recruitment of a new marketing managerwill start this week. "Initially, a company employee will beappointed to take over my tasks, but we want the selection processto be open for candidates from abroad, as well," Dan Bulucea toldZF, without giving any specific names.
