Omilos real estate developer sold 2.2 hectares of land toDecathlon French company for the construction of a store in ERAIasi shopping centre, confirming the information ZF published lastautumn, and plans to start building a mall within the project thisyear, in the wake of investments worth around 25m euros. Decathlonbought a 2.2-hectare plot of land that also allows a possibleexpansion of the store that will initially have an area of around4,000 square metres, with the sale area standing at 3,000 squaremetres. The French company, which opened its first Romanian storein Militari Bucharest district, secured another five openingsdomestically, two in Bucharest and a store in Constanta, Timisoaraand Brasov. The company's representatives did not specify the valueof investments in the Iasi store by edition close, with the averagebudget earmarked for rented units stores around 4m euros. ERA Iasiis one of the biggest retail parks outside Bucharest.
