The most expensive shopping centres announced so far inBucharest entail investments of 80-90m euros, after in 2009-2010period three projects worth above 150m euros each were opened inthe capital city, with Cotroceni Park, whose development cost 300meuros, as the most expensive. The only large shopping projectswhere construction works are set to start in this period arePallady Shopping Center of Titan and the retail park of Colosseumproject of Bucure[tii Noi area, with the centres due to involveinvestments of 80 and 90m euros, respectively. These centres arefocusing on the presence of some retailers that rent large spaces,such as hypermarkets or DIY networks, and less on apparel stores orentertainment space, activities for which the Bucharest market hasreached a quite high coverage level.
