12.05.2006, 00:00 5

Bucharest-based travel agency Blue Line Travel intends to operate up to six charter flights a week from Israel to Romania, stated Iulian Andrei, general manager of the company. The project will be conducted in partnership with the Israeli company Natour. Blue Line Travel will become the first agency to operate charter flights to the Capital, with the rest being flights to coastline destinations. "We and our partners from Israel expect to see business worth 10 million euros just from travel packages and from the money that the Israelis will spend in Romania," says Andrei. Blue Line Travel was set up in 2004 and is run by Iulian Andrei. According to him, the company registered turnover worth some 2 million euros last year. Andrei says charters from Israel will only have tourists as clients and does not expect businessmen to resort to this system, as well. According to him, the company will operate up to six charters a week, two to four of which from Tel-Aviv to Bucharest, and two flights to Kogalniceanu airport in Constanta. ZF
