All financial administration offices thatdon't have treasuries will go. We will also shut down officesgeographically very near each other. Romania cannot afford to havefinancial administration offices 5-6 kilometres apart. Over 30% offinancial administration offices that have been set up based onadministrative criteria in the past 20-30 years will go," Blejnartold ZF in an interview. He mentioned that the target was for theprocess of integrating or suspending operations of around 150financial administration offices to be completed by the end of thefirst quarter of 2011.
At first, eight regional fiscal administration offices will be setup and 41 county offices, which will be subordinated to regionalones.
The ANAF restructuring plan also includes the absorption of theFinancial Guard and the National Customs Authority, which are to bestripped of their status as legal entities.
