Medicover set to build hospital on the site of Pipera Global City blocks

Sweden's private healthcare service provider Medicover, aleading player on the market, last week acquired a plot of land inPipera area from Greek Global Finance investment fund in order tobuild a hospital on the site where a housing complex was originallydue to be raised. This is the second hospital project to be carriedout in a real estate project that originally had a differentdestination, after the owners of Sanador clinics this March renteda building in Piata Victoriei area, which was supposed to be usedas office space. "The deal was sealed last week," real estatesources told ZF, with the value of the deal topping five millioneuros, according to ZF estimates. Medicover managers announced a40m-euro investment budget, and could build an 88-bed hospital inPipera.
