Contracts with Raiffeisen and BCR are the biggest for privatehealth services operators, hitting 1m euros annually, according toZF estimates based on data from market players.
Recent years have witnessed a real "battle" among private clinicsfor companies' corporate contracts since revenues are safe and partof services included in subscriptions are not requested, thoughpaid.
The price of an individual healthcare subscription ranges onaverage between 10 and 20 euros per month, but significantdiscounts can be obtained in case of package deals (i.e. for moreemployees at a time).
Private clinics are primarily targeting financial sector players, while large companies on the domestic market in terms of employeesare less attractive as they contract occupational medicine serviceswith low added value.
However, there has been a trend among large companies lately tochoose several healthcare services operators, either for the topmanagement and the rest of employees, or for employees to be ableto choose.
An analysis of companies' contracts shows the market is dividedbetween Centrul Medical Unirea (CMU) and MedLife, while in terms ofoccupational medicine contracts, Romar holds a solid position.
