Realkapital and Cushman & Wakefield launch real estate fund

Norwegian-based investment fund manager Realkapital Partners will, together with Cushman & Wakefield, launch an investment vehicle with a capitalisation target worth 200 million euros, which will acquire residential projects in Central and Eastern Europe (including Romania). The residential division of the real estate services provider will be the strategic partner of the Norwegian investor, as part of the speculative fund CEE Residential Fund. The fund will primarily invest in big cities and cities with high growth rates in Russia, Poland, Slovakia and Romania. The fund, which has a seven-year lifespan, will be headquartered in Luxembourg and will generate 16% profit over a three-year period. Cushman & Wakefield entered the Romanian market 11 years ago through its local partner office, Activ Consulting. Last year, Cushman & Wakefield took over Activ Consulting, currently operating in Romania under the name Cushman & Wakefield Active Consulting.
