Snack Attack, holder of the store network by the same name and of a sandwich production centre in Baneasa, expects to open its first Coffee Heaven coffee shop in Romania in the autumn of this year, through a 200,000-euro investment. The investment will be made by means of a joint venture between the companies Snack Attack and Coffee Heaven. The coffee shop will be located on an approximately 60 square-metre area rented in the Baneasa Shopping City centre, with the latter being scheduled for inauguration in November. Other coffee shops, well established on the EU markets, such as Starbucks and Costa Coffee, have also recently entered the domestic market. Coffee Heaven, based in Warsaw, is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and currently owns 67 coffee shops in Poland, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Bulgaria and Slovakia. Snack Attack will also develop its store and distribution network in petrol stations and in other big networks. By the end of the year, the company will invest 450,000-675,000 euros in opening a further 9 stores, 7 of which will be in Bucharest.
