Twelve car brands see H1 sales up

In the first six months of this year 12 car brands recordedsales rises amid a 25% market decline. June was the first month ofrise for the overall market in two years.

Amid a 10% rise of the car market in June against June 2009, thenumber of brands that returned to growth last month amounted to 20after all players recorded declines of over 50% against the similarperiod of last year, according to players on the car market.

The biggest sales increases were recorded by BMW and MINI in thefirst half of this year, by 41% and 25% respectively. The thirdbest selling premium brand is Porsche, with an 11% rise sales toover 30 units. The other brands that reported sales increases inthe first half of the year were Great Wall, Daf, Scania, Chevrolet,Mazda, Ford, Volvo Trucks, Honda, and Lada.
