Why top executives choose to send children to private schools

Romanian and foreign top executives, most of whom are working inmultinationals present on the Romanian market, send their childrento private kindergartens and schools, for which they pay thousandsof euros in annual tuition fees. Why? The curriculum is much morediversified, teachers are more attentive to the children who learnseveral foreign languages at the same time. In addition, such aschool prepares them for admission into top universitiesabroad.

American International School of Bucharest, British School ofBucharest, International School for Primary Education, French Annade Noailles High School and Little London, are just a few of theprivate education institutions in Bucharest attended by thechildren of top managers working in Romania.

Raluca Milin, former marketing and sales manager of UPC, no. 2on the Romanian cable TV market, chose to enrol her two girls inLittle London private school and kindergarten, where the annualtuition fee starts from 2,750 euros a year for the kindergarten,and can reach as much as 6,400 euros a year for school education(primary and secondary school).
