Cristi Tabara and the "Heavy music"

A new show will be launched by Pro FM during the "Autumn Campaign" starting tomorrow at 22.00. The current anchorman of the main PRO TV news flash, Cristi Tabara, will join Andi Moisescu in an attempt to set up an original show called: "Muzica grea" (Heavy Music).

Not many know that the charming Cristi Tabara is seriously trained as a radio anchor. For two years he managed a weekly show at a radio station in Oradea. The show was a long talk show; it was broadcast every Thursday. It started at 21.00 and it ended in the morning.

He played rock, jazz and blues in "huge quantities." Cristi Tabara loves the radio because he thinks it is intimate, friendly and filled with mystery.

ProFM needed a DJ that knew "good oldies" and Cristi Tabara wanted to live again his passion "live," so this radio show was just the opportunity he needed. "Muzica grea" will be broadcast every Tuesday. It will be an interactive show. The playlist will include only the best music of the "heavy" of rock, jazz and blues.

The songs will be "coated" in information regarding the bands. The organisers will include their own CD and cassette collections.

If somebody thinks that he or she is in possession of a song that would "sound good" on the show they will be able to write of call or e-mail to muzicagrea@profm.ro and state the name of that song.

Those who will indeed mention a good song will join Cristi Tabara and Andi Moisescu live for the broadcast of that particular song. Cristi Tabara will start the show with a song by Jethro Tull.
