Among this week's musical events, we can mention the "Sufletul meu" (My Soul) album, signed by Ducu Bertzi, an L.P produced by Intercont Music Records. The soloist considers that his origins made it possible for him to become a folk artist. After studying the violin for eight years, he started a rock band. Since 1973 he has been playing folk, and his first guitar wears even now a psychedelic drawing, proving that he is still attracted to the "flower-power.

" His debut on a famous stage - the Flacara Circle, was in 1976, in Baia Mare, but he became famous in 1979 on the stage of the "Ion Creanga" theatre in Bucharest. His first radiobroadcast was in November 1979 with the song "Cand s-o impartit norocu" (When luck was given to man), his biggest hit. He is always present on stages around the country; he played at 3,200 concerts.

The album "Dor de duca" (Need for speed), launched in 1997, sold so well that it exceeded all expectations and the "Actualitatea musicala" magazine awarded him the Popularity Prize in 1998. The last three years meant around 200 concerts, some of them in France, Germany and Belgium. The album "Sufletul meu" includes 14 songs, like: "Nu am cer," "Nunta din bar," "Mandra mea s-o laudat," "Balada firului de iarba" and "Cantec de dragoste." The launch of his new album will take place tomorrow at 12.00 at the "Master Music" store in Bucharest.
