Spanish automotive components producer Caucho Metal Productos (CMP) will invest some 3 million euros this year in doubling production capacities in the plant based in Sibiu county. The company currently holds production facilities covering a 2,000 square-metre surface area, and employs over 100 people. So far, the Spanish investment has reached approximately 6.5 million euros. "By the end of this year, we will have over 180 employees and even though there are some problems on the labour market, as yet, we have not encountered major difficulties in recruitment. Although recruits are under qualified when they are first employed, after a few months of on-the-job training they all manage to sufficiently adjust," Marius Bologa, general manager of Caucho Metal Productos Romania told ZF Transilvania. The Spanish company completed the first part of the investment in Sibiu at the end of October, when production also began.
