Elgeka-Ferfelis, a consumer goods distributor, has derived turnover worth 87m RON (26m euros) in the first six months of this year, up 2m RON against the same period of 2006. This year, the distributor ended its partnership, which was signed last year, with Pan Group, one of the main players on the bakery market, but added another two companies, Kimberly Clark and Wilkinson Sword, to its list of suppliers, in a bid to maintain a growth in sales. The company's older suppliers include Cream Line, Chupa Chups and Podravka, a Croatian producer of food seasonings. The company's recent investments, which totalled around 5m euros 2006, targeted an increase in the number of national warehouses and the renewal of its transport fleet, as well as an expansion on the Bulgarian consumer goods market. Beside the FMCG sector, the company also has timber export and tool distribution operations. The company last year entered a new field, the import and retail of ceramic products and bathroom accessories.
