Law firm Pachiu & Asociatii (Pachiu & Partners), which assisted the French company Ixis when it took over the America House office building (Victoriei Square), could reach revenues worth two million euros this year, largely derived from its real estate activity. "This year, between 50 and 70% of revenues will be accounted for by real estate consulting services, a segment where more than 10 of the firm's 20 lawyers operate. This year, we could reach revenues worth 2 million euros, but this is not a firmly set target," said Laurentiu Pachiu, managing partner of the law firm. The firm's leading projects have included the sale of America House (where White & Case worked as a subcontractor) on behalf of the real estate division of the French company Natixis when it took over the building in Victoriei Square (Bucharest), whilst another transaction involved Portuguese-based Sonae Sierra, which took over a plot in Ploiesti, where they plan to build a shopping centre. Another important client is Spanish developer Hercesa, which Pachiu has been working with since 2005 for residential projects located in Titan, Ghencea and on the site of the former bread plant Spicul.
