Standard Snacks, the producer of Smiley Chips, Rontzi and Bazzaconi, has relocated its central headquarters to an office project in the northern area of Bucharest, according to Colliers, broker of the deal. The class-B office space the company rented has an area of 1,050 square metres, with prices for such a space in similar areas ranging between 10 and 15 euros/square metre/month. Considering an average period of 5-7 years of rental contracts, the value of the deal is likely to top 1 million euros. Park House project is located in the northern area of the city, close to Iride Business Park. "Standard Snack rented an entire floor within the project and the company will carry its activities on a single floor. This way, activities can be fluent, whereas the control and communication processes are optimised," says Horia Moldovan, the Colliers broker who handled the deal. Standard Snacks, a company owned by Romanian investors, is one of the main players on the Romanian snacks market, beside Star Foods, Chio Chips, European Food and Best Foods. ZF
