Officials of Moeller Electric Romania, the local branch of the German group specialised in producing and supplying electrical equipment, estimate that turnover will grow 25% against 2005 this year. The company has budgeted 25 million-euro business for 2006. The projected pace of growth for Moeller Electric's business on the local market is the same as in 2005. German company Moeller Electric, entered Romania with a sales structure in 1997, and in 2001 became a local producer by opening its own factory in Baia Mare. "The real estate market is seeing an overall growth as the economy itself is on the rise. With the big privatisations, also came foreign investors with great financial power," Eugen Borsan, development and marketing manager with Moeller Electric Romania told ZF. "The most significant factor behind our growth is the very fast pace of the construction market, which also drove a growing demand for various types of electrical equipment, such as big-sized electric panels," specified Borsan.
