Search Corporation, a constructions design and consultingservices firm, with turnover worth around 15m euros, will finaliseCrystal Tower building in downtown Bucharest by yearend, the firstoffice building in the city with a helipad on its roof. CrystalTower will be located at the crossroads between Caderea Bastilieiand Iancu de Hunedoara, close to the Government's headquarters. Asroad transportation is getting increasingly congested in Bucharest,such a solution may prove interesting for domestic executives, aswell as for statesmen. Nevertheless, companies have not rushed torent out space in the building with a lettable area of around16,000 square metres, raised in the wake of 35m-euro investments."Search Corporation will occupy five floors (of the 14 floors ofthe building i.e.) and we're in talks with a medical clinic and abank for space rental, but we still have offices available. Thebuilding will be delivered at the end of the year. As regards thehelipad, one of the reasons for having it built is the proximity tothe Government, and many statesmen might need a place to land theirhelicopters," stated Mihaela Draghici, PR officer with SearchCorporation.
