First Rolls-Royce servicing centre in CEE opens in Romania

Automobile Bavaria, the main BMW dealer on the Romanian market,with a nearly 130 million-euro business, controlled by businessmanMichael Schmidt, who brought BMW on the Romanian market in 1994,yesterday opened its first official Rolls-Royce servicing centre inCentral and Eastern Europe in Bucharest, in the Băneasa BMWcentre.


In all there are 57 Rolls Royce cars registered in Romania,according to statistics of the Driving Licence and VehicleRegistration Department, with another 20 countries such as theRepublic of Moldova, Bulgaria, and Serbia, to potentially use thenew servicing centre for inspections.
"There are two spaces that can accommodate two Rolls-Royces, aseparate reception area, and a separate car part storage area.Rolls-Royces will not be repaired in the same place with BMW andMINI. We invested in a servicing centre because this is what iscurrently in demand," said Ciprian Bercea, manager withinAutomobile Bavaria.
