IBM Romania, the local subsidiary of the world's biggest ITservices provider, will continue to recruit this year for juniorand specialist IT positions, who will work for international IBMcentres in Romania. Currently there are 84 job openings advertisedon IBM's website, for Bucharest and Brasov.
"International IBM centres recruited weekly last year, andcontinue to do so this year, pursuing a well-determined growth plandecided on more than two years ago," says Mihai Tudor, generalmanager of IBM Romania. Around 90% of the jobs advertised requireexperience. According to the latest available data, IBM has around1,500 employees in Romania. The company also has a few juniorpositions open.
IBM Romania predominantly seeks graduates of the PolytechnicUniversity (Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers,Electronics, and Engineering Taught in Modern Languages), as wellas graduates of the Academy of Economic Studies - the EconomicCybernetics faculty, and of the University of Bucharest (theFaculty of Mathematics and Computer Science).
