American IT giant Intel, with 35billion-dollar annual revenues, will invest several million eurosin opening the research and development centre in Bucharest, whichwill mainly be involved in developing software for smart mobilephones, TVs and cars.
"The Intel Software research and development centre in Romaniawill initially hire around 25 professionals specialising insoftware research and development, with their number to rise threeor four-fold over time, as the projects diversify," said companyofficials. "Intel Romania Software Development Center will focus ondeveloping software solutions necessary for creating the bestexperience for users on a large range of smart devices based onIntel architecture, including smartphones and other equipment forgeneral use, such as smart TVs and in-vehicle infotainmentsystems."
