IT suppliers: public institutions should buy software if they want to cope with redundancies

Domestic IT companies maintain they can provide products andservices to the public administration that is facing a rising workvolume with fewer employees, in the wake of layoffs announced bythe Government.
IT companies say electronic solutions would optimise publicinstitutions' costs, public administration processes, wouldminimise paper consumption and increase citizens' satisfactionlevel.
For instance, Star Storage, a domestic IT services supplierspecialising in data storage, archiving and management, has severalsolutions for central and local authorities in its portfolio,which, once implemented, can cut costs by as much as 50%.
Domestic software producer CS Vision has RiverRaft operationsmanagement application in its portfolio, which includes performanceindicators that help companies assess and control employees'activities.
In its turn, Siveco, the biggest domestic software producer, hasseveral products for public administration.
Another company including local administration solutions in itsportfolio is iQuest, mainly operating in the business ITsector.
