Lawyer Ion Nestor, 57, who founded and has been running NNDKP(Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen), one of the leadingplayers on the legal market, says this is the second year ofdecline for the law firm market, amid problems facing the economyand companies.
"This year has not confounded my expectations. We did not expectmiracles. We had a conservative budget, which took intoconsideration adverse factors. The economic context has notimproved. Nothing of what has happened in the last 18 months hasbeen able to bring about sound economic growth," Nestor told ZiarulFinanciar in an interview.
NNDKP law firm last year posted 13.9 million euros in revenues,down 6% on 2008, ranking second among the largest law firms inRomania after the first year of revenue decline amid clientproblems, which has also put pressure on outsourced legalservices.
