Canadian-born Linda Griffin, 45, who took over the reins offive-star Athenee Palace Hilton hotel of Bucharest this month,expects revenues generated by the patio, the bar and the tworestaurants part of the hotel to rise by 10% next year, which wouldtranslate into an extra around 1m euros for the hotel owned bybusinessman George Copos.
"In principle, we will not modify the hotel's developmentstrategy. We'll keep prices at the current level and try to boostits food & beverage revenues by 10% next year, in the wake ofpatio refurbishment and the opening of Café Athenee. At the sametime, we plan to increase the occupancy rate," stated LindaGriffin, with a 21 years' experience in Hilton Worldwide.
She specified accommodation services generate 60% of the hotel'sturnover, while the restaurants and the patio bring 40% ofrevenues.
Hilton yesterday opened Café Athenee restaurant in the spacepreviously filled by Le Bistrot restaurant in the wake of 2m-euroinvestments.
