Iaki hotel in Mamaia targets 90% occupancy rate this summer

The four-star hotel Iaki in Mamaia, owned by the former footballer Gheorghe Hagi, estimates an approximately 85-90% occupancy rate for the summer season, a 10-15% increase against July and August last year, taking into account the bookings made so far. Under the circumstances, the hotel could reach revenues worth 1.12 million euros, with Hagi's hotel set to see a 2.7 million-euro turnover by the end of the year. "Revenues collected so far exceed those seen last year, and we estimate the trend will continue throughout this year. There has been an around 25-30% increase this year against the revenues generated last year," stated Elena Luiza Piine, marketing and sales manager of the hotel. Last year, Iaki hotel posted a 2.07 million-euro turnover, with Hagi's seaside property's business reaching 0.8 million euros in July and August alone.
