The third large private hospital of Bucharest, Sanador, willdeliver the first consultations in early February, when theofficial opening is also scheduled.
The launch of Sanador hospital comes three years after MedLife'sopening of Life Memorial Hospital, the latest benchmark on themarket, and five years after Euroclinic (now controlled by CentrulMedical Unirea) appeared as a private wing of FloreascaHospital.
While in other cities of the country other entrepreneurs alreadyhave operational hospitals, in Bucharest the opening of Sanador isthe first intention materialising, though several investors haveannounced similar projects.
"The hospital is ready for any type of intervention, but currentlythe most in-demand services are obstetrics-gynaecology ones.(...)," said Florin Andronescu, Sanador business developer.
In the first operational year, the hospital is likely to generate5m-euro revenues and the occupancy rate would stand at 30%. Thus,the company's total turnover is likely to go up to 15-16m euros,from 11m euros last year.
