Ecolor furniture producer, owner of a plant in Jucu, Cluj Countyclose to Nokia manufacturing centre, wants to hire around 160people this year, to reach a 400 headcount.
At the same time, the Cluj-based company plans to expandcollaboration with IKEA and build a new production facility.
"The plan is to boost the number of employees from 240 persons atpresent to 400, by yearend. A project related to a new productionfacility is also due to be launched," stated the representatives ofthe accounting and HR department of Ecolor.
Ecolor management chose not to provide additional information onthe value of investments, the surface area of the new productionfacility or its production capacity, saying it would provide suchdetails later.
The company in 2009 completed investments of around 3m euros tobuild a production facility, according to information previouslyprovided by Ecolor representatives. Over the past four years, thecompany has operated various investments to expand the plant inJucu and to buy new equipment.
