Grigorescu, 35, andŞtefănică, 41, have known each other ever since 1994, when theywere in college, and planned to merge four or five years ago.Ştefănică at that time worked in a bigger firm, while things arequite the opposite now: Grigorescu has a team of 26-27 lawyers,while Ştefănică comes with part of the 7-8 people he works with,with the name of the firm set to be changed into bpv Grigorescu,Ştefănică.
"With a team of over 30lawyers, you can cover about any case. There will be some costsynergies and should things combine well, we hope to go towardrevenues of 3.5-4m euros," says Cătălin Grigorescu about the tie-upwith Ştefănică.
In the wake of the merger,the number of partners will rise from five to six, as DanielŞtefănică joins the partnership structure.
