The chairman of Brinel group, Marcel Borodi, a major domesticplayer in the IT&C field, sees sales rebound in 2010 and countson IT investments getting back to normal starting the second halfof this year. The Cluj-based group in 2008 generated turnover wortharound 28m euros, and last year Brinel officials took into accounta possible sales contraction against the previous year. "This yearwe plan to maintain Brinel's position on the market, focusing onusing the opportunities set to emerge with the slight economicrecovery. The difference from 2009 is that the market has somewhatthawed out compared with the same period of last year. Companiesexperienced a year when they felt the lack of IT infrastructureinvestments or, on the contrary, they got to realise the benefitsthis component brings during economic recession periods," MarcelBorodi told ZF Transilvania. Brinel group has over 500 activecustomers and 140 employees.
