BCR last year persuaded large companies of almost all industriesto start working with the largest bank on the market with one ormore products and services, and the success rests with the new teamthat has been forged in recent years in the corporate banking unit,states Wolfgang Schoiswohl, executive vice-president with BCR, incharge of large companies and SMEs.
"I am very proud we managed to boost corporate lending by 15%last year and the main factor was our having strengthened our teamconsiderably in the past two years. (...)".
With a previous experience of around five years on the domesticmarket, on the same corporate area, Schoiswohl was recruited byErste in the autumn of 2008. He got the mandate to strengthen thebank's position on the corporate segment, particularly on thesegment of large companies. And in a bid to hit his targets, hecontinued to recruit specialised bankers from several banks withexperience in the field and not only.
For 2011, Schoiswohl wants a new two-digit increase.
